also side bar note, whats the point of not running meta? should our goal as a group not be to make us all better duelists? and how can we really be the best we could be if we intentionally refuse to use the best tools?

i can understand the argument of wanting to be creative or not do what everyone else does, and rogue decks have there place in every meta, but to blatantly refuse to use the best cards were placing a cap on how well we can preform, especially v.s. meta decks.

To be perfectly honest, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I also think if i were to duel more meta deck i MIGHT come up with a counter for them. My hobby is finding ways to make any given card utterly useless in one given duel through the use of one or multiple cards. However, the rule is instated, and unless we ask who ever it was that made it why its instated i don't think i can do much. I addition i'd get more involved with the 'rules' here but im a rather new admin and wouldn't want to overstep my boundaries as to what i can and cant do. (I would however say that most rules are better broken than instated.) I for one think the rule MIGHT be instated to get an idea of what a person does with somewhat less than godly power. (star eater, wicked avatar, etcetera) As these cards take out a certain level of strategy from the game. For example; I summon wicked avatar, you're deprived of your spells and traps and that can ruin almost any plan. And have you ever enjoyed a game where the opponents deck is basically only meant to summon near invincible monsters? Its hard to enjoy yourself (and to resist certain harsh words from being said). (not that i can say that i wouldn't mind watching someones face when they lose say 5 lvl 11 monsters with one mirror force card. { O.O, T^T in order} bottom line: as is the way with most things this place is a democracy and as your admin i will take this suggestion to heart. btw, i would love it if our suggestion forum was filled with more topics than i can read.

gotta wait for yureka to let you know what she's planning. as of right now, you're in the highest dorm, obviously, but she may give you more hefty responsibilities, depending on what her mindset on you is. i mean, you're really good, so she might have other things she'd like to ask you before she places you.
